1. Who operates Foly Screenshot

Foly Screenshot is a Foly product operated by Dowlaty Ali, based in Budapest, Hungary.

2. Product scope

Foly Screenshot is a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. Its purpose is to capture full-page screenshots and save them as PNG files on your device.

This policy applies to the Foly Screenshot browser extension, the website at screenshot.foly.today, and privacy-related support requests about Foly Screenshot. It does not apply to unrelated Foly products unless they link to this policy.

3. No account required

You do not need to create an account, sign in, connect a workspace, or connect Foly Screenshot to FolySEO to use the extension.

4. Screenshots stay local

Screenshots are generated inside your browser and saved locally as PNG files on your device. Foly Screenshot does not upload screenshots to Foly servers, FolySEO, cloud storage, analytics services, advertising services, or third-party storage services.

We do not have access to the PNG files you save locally.

5. Website content is processed locally only

To create a full-page screenshot, the extension may temporarily access and process the visible and scrollable content of the page you choose to capture. This processing happens locally in your browser for the purpose of creating the screenshot. Captured page content is not sent to Foly.

6. Data the extension does not collect or transmit

The Foly Screenshot extension does not collect, sell, share, upload, or transmit:

• screenshot images;
• captured page content;
• browsing history;
• search history;
• account information;
• passwords or authentication data;
• payment information;
• private messages;
• health information;
• behavioral analytics;
• advertising identifiers;
• personal profiles.

7. No tracking inside the extension

The extension does not use analytics scripts, advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, behavioral profiling, third-party telemetry, advertising identifiers, or cloud analytics.

Foly Screenshot is not used to build advertising profiles.

8. Browser permissions

Foly Screenshot may request browser permissions needed to provide screenshot functionality. Depending on the browser and extension version, these permissions may include access to the active tab or current page, page content, downloads, and local browser storage.

These permissions are used only to capture the page you choose, save the PNG file, and remember local preferences. They are not used to monitor browsing behavior or send browsing data to Foly.

9. Local settings

If Foly Screenshot stores preferences, those settings are stored locally in your browser where possible. Local settings may include capture preferences, extension UI preferences, or browser-specific extension settings. These settings are not used for tracking and are not uploaded to Foly.

10. No cloud sync

Foly Screenshot does not provide cloud sync. Screenshot files are stored wherever you choose to save them on your device. Your browser or operating system may manage the download location according to your local settings.

11. No FolySEO transfer

Foly Screenshot is a Foly product, but it does not send screenshots to FolySEO. It does not connect screenshots to a FolySEO account, upload screenshots to FolySEO, use screenshots for SEO analysis, use screenshots for AI analysis, or sync screenshots with a FolySEO workspace.

12. Website privacy

The product website at screenshot.foly.today is a product website for Foly Screenshot. The website does not require an account and does not collect screenshots.

The website may use Google Analytics only if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner. If you reject analytics, Google Analytics is not loaded by this website and you can still use the website normally.

The website does not intentionally use advertising pixels, behavioral advertising, cross-site advertising profiles, newsletter tracking, or account login tracking.

13. Google Analytics on the website only

Google Analytics may be used on this website to understand basic website usage, such as page views, approximate geography, browser/device category, referring pages, and aggregate interaction metrics.

Google Analytics is used only for the website. It is not included in the Foly Screenshot extension. It does not receive screenshots or captured page content from the extension.

Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and related analytics identifiers after you accept analytics cookies. Google may process analytics data according to its own terms and privacy documentation.

14. Cookie and analytics choices

The website uses a local consent preference to remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics. This preference is stored in your browser.

You can change your choice by using the “Cookie Settings” control in the header or footer. Rejecting analytics does not affect the extension and does not block access to the website.

15. Standard hosting and security logs

Standard hosting, DNS, CDN, or security systems may process technical information such as IP address, user-agent, request time, requested URL, error logs, and security event logs.

This technical data is used only for security, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and reliable operation of the website. It is not used for advertising or behavioral profiling.

If you click those links or install the extension from those stores, the store operator may process data according to its own privacy policy and developer platform rules. Foly does not control those browser store privacy practices.

18. Browser store disclosures

Our browser store disclosures are intended to match this policy and the actual behavior of the extension. If the extension’s data practices change, we will update this policy and the relevant browser store disclosures.

19. Limited Use statement

Foly Screenshot uses browser permissions only for the single purpose of capturing full-page screenshots and saving PNG files locally.

The extension does not use accessed page content, screenshots, or browser data for unrelated purposes, advertising, profiling, resale, or transfer to third parties.

The use of information received from browser APIs is limited to the extension’s user-facing screenshot functionality and is handled in accordance with applicable browser store user-data policies.

20. No sale or targeted advertising

We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for targeted advertising. We do not use screenshots, page content, or browser activity to create advertising profiles.

21. Sensitive pages

You control what you capture. Be careful when taking screenshots of pages that contain passwords, account data, private messages, payment details, medical information, legal information, client data, confidential business information, children’s data, or other sensitive content.

After a screenshot is saved to your device, you are responsible for storing, sharing, deleting, or protecting that file.

22. Security

Foly Screenshot is designed to reduce privacy risk by keeping screenshot processing local. Because screenshots are saved on your device, you should protect your device, browser profile, and downloaded files using appropriate security measures.

We cannot recover, delete, or secure screenshot files that are stored only on your device.

23. Legal bases for processing

Where GDPR applies, the legal bases we rely on may include:

• Consent for optional Google Analytics cookies on the website.
• Legitimate interests for website security, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and responding to non-contractual support requests.
• Contract or pre-contractual steps when responding to a request related to the extension or support.

24. Data retention

Extension screenshots: We do not retain screenshots because they are not sent to us.

Local extension settings: Local settings remain in your browser until you remove the extension, clear extension storage, or reset your browser profile.

Website analytics: If analytics is accepted, analytics data is retained according to the Google Analytics property settings and only as long as reasonably needed to understand website performance.

Support emails: We may retain support messages for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, maintain support records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.

Website technical logs: Where technical logs are under our control, we retain them only as long as reasonably necessary for security, diagnostics, and reliability.

25. Deleting your data

Because screenshots are saved locally, you can delete them directly from your device.

• delete downloaded PNG files from your computer;
• remove the extension from your browser;
• clear extension local storage through your browser settings;
• use the header or footer “Cookie Settings” control to change website analytics consent;
• contact [email protected] for questions about support emails or other data you sent to us.

26. Children’s privacy

Foly Screenshot is a general productivity utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the extension.

27. EU/EEA and UK privacy rights

Depending on your location and the data involved, you may have rights to:
